Why its my scentsy plug-in.
With my favorite ever scent....Luscious Lemon!!!!
It smells my whole house with just this one on.
Still not terribly happy with this corner over here...atleast not beside my stove.
The copper rooster I bought in a shop while we were in Houston.
The large LANCE jar was a recent find by my husband.
Pioneer Woman cookbook, full of beautiful photos and delicous cookin!
woohoo!
I'm so very proud!
I just made a quick lil banner before he came home for lunch.
(I realized after I loaded the pictures that you can see me and miss lil bit)
and ignore my wreath...the neighborhood boys come over about 7 times a day to see if Jonathan can play and I caught them messing with it.

Yesterday I spent all day in the kitchen.
Cleaning, reorganizing and redecorating.

Please keep in mind I live in military housing so I can't paint...or knock out a wall. ;) hehe
This is what you see as you're walking from the living area.
I'm still adding things to my pot rack. (ebay)

The copper bowls were a recent goodwill find.
I lowered the rooster hook holding mine and Reagan's aprons.
I added a flower my son planted for me under my cloche, on top of a Mackenzie Child's plate.
Sorry for the dark photos, it was cloudy this morning and afternoon.
I am still looking for a different valance for the kitchen window.
I can't make up my mind if I want a red check one, similar to my curtains in the dining room. The copper cow I bought a few months ago off ebay.

Hi Michele- I am one of you new followers! I'd say you are doing a good job with your kitchen. It is hard with military housing to really put your own "stamp" on it, isn't it? I'll bet your hubby was smiling all over when he got home and saw the banner on the door. Congrats to him- Military life is not an easy one..it is lonely and scary sometimes- xo Diana
Your kitchen is wonderful. I think you've done a great job decorating it. Congrats to your DH, that is magnificent, and thank you both for your service. Hugs, Marty
Your kitchen is so cute! Congratulations to your husband!

Hi Michele,
First, congrats to your husband! Second, thanks for visiting our blog. Third, your kitchen looks great. We have the same color mixer. Don't you just love it? I love some of your recent finds. The red-checked tray made into a chalkboard is so cute. I'd say, go with the red-checked curtains and you'll be able to find so many accessories to go with that theme. I have 3 Lance cookie jars that I've had since the 1980s. I don't have room for a rack like they used to have in general stores years ago, but someday I'd like one. Have a great weekend! Jane
Oh, I forgot to ask. Did you make your labels for your glass canisters? I really like them.
Congrats to the SSG, so is my son-n-law he's in the Marines and they are based in Quanitco, VA but he is from S.C. you guys have a lot in common. I love your kitchen, I have that same cook book holder in red and I love those labels on your jars, really nice job girl!

Conrats to your hubbie! Your kitchen has a warm country French feel to it, that I just love. It is amazing to see that you can create that in Military housing. Great job!!
Glad you had a great celebration. So proud of Justin and you, his military wife. Your decorating is just amazing. Your kitchen doesn't look like all the rest of them. Your idea for the vintage trays is great. I bet you could easily sell those. love you. mimi

It must stink now being able to do what you want in military housing! I say hubby defends our country, you should be able to paint any dang color YOU WANT!! ~Giggle~ I know that would fly with his commanding officer right?
