Our Christmas lights

Good thing I uploaded these pictures right when I took them. Later that night while cleaning the kitchen and Reagan was sitting on the stool...playing with the camera. She broke it!!!!!
She pulled off the pieces around the lens and I can't even get it to close or turn off.
This is the third camera we've gone through. (I need to find the warranty paper to get it fixed)

We usually "light" up the whole house for Christmas, but since hubby is in Afghanistan and I'm not climbing on the roof or anything else this is what I came up with.

I really don't like "inflatables" but I put Santa up for Reagan, because she loves him!

I could not find my wreath. :/

I have two of these trees in urns, but couldn't find the other.
I did have the cords tucked in but the wind kept blowing the tree over.
I added lighted presents from TJ Maxx and some vintage Santa boots I got while in Houston last summer.

The vintage sled was an estate sale find by my husband.
I tied a Ballard designs wreath on it because I couldn't find my ice skates.

Another view of the yard.

We made Christmas cookies a few days ago (they're gone now)
Here is Reagan eating sugar....

Jonathan has a cold, so we don't know if we'll be going to Houston for Christmas.
If he's well by Sunday we will go. I hope so, I really don't want to spend Christmas here without my husband.

Merry Christmas y'all!

Michele

You are such a good mommy to set that up all by yourself. I sure hope you are able to go. Colds going on around here, too. The mister has been sick and out of work the last couple of days.

I really like your big blow up Santa. He fits perfectly on that side of the house and it adds an instant bit of cheer to your house. I think you did a great job. I'm sorry to hear that your son has a cold. I would ask the doctor or even pharmacist what you could give him so he can be on the mend for Christmas vacation. I would hate for you to miss Christmas with your family!

I like all of the lights outside, Michelle. Oh, I hope ya'll get to go to Houston for Christmas. That sweetie eating the sugar reminds me of mine, she will still grab a bottle of sprinkles from the cabinet and eat them. No cookies needed, lol.

Hope you get to go home for Christmas. I know the 3 times my hubby was deployed I never went home for Christmas...but it's always nice to get to be with family during the Holidays! Hope your son feels better soon. We have a sick house here too..strep and ear infections..no fun!

All the best,
Rachel

Your daughter is precious. Those little finger smears are the plate are too cute!
I hope your baby feels better.
I will say a couple little prayers.

She looks as sweet as sugar herself! I love the white lights on the railing. I don't blame you for not climbing up on the roof. I wouldn't do that either!

Well done Michelle...I have done most of the Christmas decorating myself my whole married life. I know how overwhelming it can be but you did a great job. I just know your son will get well enough to travel...hang in there. Happy Christmas!

Hi Michele, Your outside lights look great...you did an awesome job. I do all of the outside lights myself every year...hubby wants nothing to do with it anymore. I can't wait until the boys are older so they can take over.
Hope you son feels better so you can enjoy your Christmas in Houston!

Michele your outdoor decor is fabulous! Of course one of my favorite things is the monogram red pillow. It looks like the perfect accent.
