What I'm working on

I finally starting painting the chest in the "foyer."
I need to keep my mind off of things so I'm trying to keep busy.
I've still got the drawers to do, but I've got to do those when Reagan is sleeping.
This is what it looked like yesterday after two coats of Old White.
Sorry for the quality of pictures, this little corner is so dark.
(This little corner has been a "hoarding" space for Reagan, she brings all her stuff over here while I paint)

This is what it looks like right now.
Chateau gray, my favorite!
Love this color.
(I am on the hunt for new drapes, I just can't decide what direction I want to go)

Hopefully I'll be done tomorrow, limited on time with little one running around.

Thanks y'all for the comments on the scales, for now the shelves look like this.
I haven't had time to move stuff around yet.
(I left the red one on the little table)

I will show y'all the chest as soon as I finish.

I've got an appointment with my oncologist next Tuesday and supposed to have a PET scan also for something I am terrified of. I'll have a CT scan in January when I see my radiation oncologist.
I just pray that everything is alright.

Y'all have a good night.
We are getting ready to eat chicken and dumplings!

Michele

The chest looks great! I really like the color choice...I only have the Old White and make a gray by mixing it with chalkboard paint. I look forward to seeing it all finished...and I like the roo on the middle shelf :)
