New lamps and more..

I've been a bad bad blogger!
I bought these lamps atleast 2 months ago and haven't shared them.
I have been searching everywhere for some harlequin style lamps.
Came across these babies and had to have!
It was almost like love at first sight.

They are so stinkin cute!!

See the sofa table they're sitting on...
well you can't really see it but I bought it at an estate sale a few months ago...
I will share it after I paint it (as soon as I decide which color)

The pillow I ordered from Ballard Designs....in MAY!!!
That is right May people....
The crimson twill cover was supposed to be on back order until June.
Email after email the date kept getting pushed further back.
FINALLY received it and I'm happy to say it arrived no more than 2 days after it shipped.

I am still waiting on the insert, so I just stuffed one I had on hand in it.
I placed an order with Ballard again today, hopefully it won't take as long for the other items I ordered.

Last this little rooster was an ebay find.
He was only $9.
He is in great vintage condition.

I added a teeny bit of fall decor to my kitchen.
I will share it with y'all in a few days.
We've got company coming in tomorrow through Reagan's birthday!!

 Y'all have a wonderful weekend!
Michele

Michele, LOVE your lamps! They coordinate perfectly with your decor! And you know I love the rooster. What great finds you've got! Enjoy your weekend; and happy birthday to your daughter!

I saw a rooster like that at a local antique mall. I love the vintage look of him. I would have cancelled that order from Ballard's. That is ridiculous that it took that long. Were they just out of the red covers? Crazy. Cute new lamps. Maybe the table should be black.

Looks great Michele :) I like what I see in your dining area. Love the pillows on the bench and your red buffalo check curtains. Those high back chairs are great! I think black would go well on that table...the lamps are very nice.

I think you need to paint your sofa table black too! It would ground the space and look so good with your drapes. I think Ballard should send you the insert free after waiting this long!

I have ordered things from Ballard and I've never had to wait. But I have heard stories like yours, too. Love your new lamps, table, etc, but my favorite is that rooster!Enjoy the birthday celebrations with your company!

Great lamps, Michele! I love that style myself. I had that happen when I ordered the Naughty/Nice Christmas stockings last year; the final email said they were out of stock. Two days later they arrived. Go figure. Recently I just ordered drapes from them, they came really quick, two days after I ordered them. I found out they have a location here in Ohio and that was where it shipped from, so I was happy about that.
