Little table redo

I've been waiting to share my little table for a few weeks, since my camera was messed up.
I forgot to take before pictures, it was black and was damaged pretty badly.
I used gorilla glue on some parts that were lifting and there was water damage on top.

Here it is after a two coats of ASCP in Chateau grey. (my favorite)

I also used clear and dark wax. I love the dark wax, it gives it a whole new look!
It sits on the wall in the hall right outside the kitchen.
Rooster lamp was from a local interior design store at their annual sale.

See the side of the table on the top. It was severely damaged, I couldn't fix it so I just pulled the sides off.
Maybe when my husband gets home he can fix it for me.

A few of my cookbooks! <3

The lance jar was something my husband found while picking.
It is one of my favorite things.
For now I've got our hot chocolate and marshmallows in it.

another glance

I think it turned out really well.
Its about time too because that table was UGLY!

I hope y'all are having a wonderful day!
Michele

Now, Michelle, this table is just adorable. Looks so good in that color and with the roo lamp and the vintage jar, full of hot chocolate and marshmallows...it's all just so cute.
You have awesome taste...and I really want those buffalo check curtains!!:)
Seems we like about the same things...
and I've been meaning to say how thrilled I am that you are a cancer survivor. My daughter in law had cervical cancer, surgery and is doing fine now. She was older than you, tho. So glad you are getting good checkups. :))

Michele,
your table turned out amazing! Love the color and you'd never know
there was anything wrong with it!
Rooster lamp, very cute, using it for your cookbooks, perfect! I see you have the Better Homes and Gardens CB. I found 3 vintage ones and gave one to Kate when she got her 1st apt and then gave 1 to Aaron when he got his apt in NC. I have 1 left for when Chris (his older brother) moves out. I have mine from when I was 20.
Rebecca
PS. Aaron is still here and waiting. Soon.

Love how it turned out! I will be putting Chateaux Grey on my list, for sure! I'm a new follower visiting from Debbiedoo's newbie party!

I really must try some of that chalkpaint. That grey looks gorgeous.I have a collection of Lance cookie jars. I don't have them out because I have so little space. But yours looks so cute on your newly done table.

Debbiedoos said...

Love that color and I adore the table and vignette. Cute jar too. Thanks so much Michele for joining my newbie party. I am glad you finally used the chalk paint. The other day I bought a regular can of paint and I could not use it. I can't believe I feel that way, and perhaps it was the cheap brand I bought. I am spoiled and thought I would never buy another can of chalk paint because of the price. I am changing my feeling on that, and will buy more in the future.
