A New painting

I had my eyes on this baby for a few months.
Every time I went to TJ MAXX I would check the price waiting for it to come down.
Finally I was strolling through the clearance section and saw it.

My heart skipped a beat as I turned it over and saw the price.
I think I hugged it as I ran to the cash register.
I loved the colors, the frame and just everything about it.

I decided to hang it in the dining room.
I placed it over the cabinet my hubby bought me for mother's day last year.
(It was the first furniture I painted)
I think the colors go well with everything going on in the room.

The little lamp is from Ross and I just tied a leopard print ribbon around it.
Little piggy was a yard sale find.
.....and below is how it looks in the dining area.
What do you think?
Does the picture look alright there?
Should I hang anything else with it?

Michelle, I didn't know you got my drapes. They look good. I also have that same rooster painting and it is on my bookcase in the great room now. It seems to move a lot. The picture you just bought I have the cousin to it with the red bike in the picture. You really do like the same things I do.

Oh yes, my hubby bought me the drapes some time last year. I've moved my rooster painting around quite a few places too. I saw my pictures cousin at our TJMAXX also, but it was gone quick.

Your room is so pretty. I really like those red drapes, too. Your new painting looks perfect over that little table. You really have a knack for putting things together.

Great picture, Michele! Good for you finding it on clearance! Sometimes it pays to wait. The frame alone is gorgeous on this.

Hi Michele...

Ohhh...I am really enjoying your beautiful farmhouse dining room, my friend! I love your new painting...it seems perfectly at home in that spot! You sounds just like me...if I find something I really like but it's at full price...I will patiently wait for it to go on sale. Most of the time...my patience is rewarded! Hehe! I'm happy that your's was as well!

I love the little cabinet that you honey gave you! And the vignette is perfect! Love the sunflowers and the white piggy pitcher (too cute)! You know, I think that adding the splash of yellow through the sunflowers looks awesome with the red! Sooo pretty, Michelle!

Warmest summery wishes,
Chari
