Anniversary Dinner

On Friday the 13th Justin and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. I made a nice dinner by candlelight.
I set a simple table for the two of us while dinner was cooking, nothing fancy.

We had bacon wrapped filet mignon, parmesan asparagus and mashed potatoes.

I set the kids up at the bar, but little one decided she was joining us at the table.

For dessert blackberry crisp and the best ice cream ever!!! (it finally made its way to Raleigh and we stocked up on a recent trip to the city!)

You can find the recipe for the blackberry vanilla crisp HERE. It is absolutely delicious.

Happy Anniversary hunny. I love you muches and looking forward to many more.

Happy Anniversary! That's just the way we would celebrate when our kids were little too. I even have the pictures of our dinners and we've been married 25 years this coming Valentines Day. :)

I had to come back and ask, have you tried Blue Bell Vanilla Bean? It is to die for!

Hi Michele, I can't believe I was so behind in blogging. It is so fun to catch up. I know the kids are growing up too fast, but then I see them and reality hits me hard. Reagan is getting prettier every day and Jonathan is so handsome......love you all.....glad to read you again.
