My stools are done!

I showed ya'll one stool I finished up.
I finally got around to finishing the other one a couple weekends ago.

I tried taking pictures at different times of the day.
It was either too dark, too bright or too yellow!!

Complete view.

You can barely see my Mackenzie Childs colander hanging on my pot rack.
See the big copper pot.
I bought that from one of my favorite antique malls in Spring, TX while we were home over the summer.

Yes I needed to sweep in these pics. LOL

I like the way they turned out.

I can't wait to paint the dresser in my entry. (See picture below)
I bought a new mirror on my birthday and its now hanging over this dresser.
(I'll share soon as I take photos)
I'd like to get different curtains and hang them up to the ceiling also.
I ordered ASCP in Antibes green, it should be here soon!!!
(I think I may paint the dresser in Chateau Gray)

So many ideas floating in my head.
I will also be decorating our bedroom while my husband is gone, which I would LOVE to have help on.
That is one room in the house I have done nothing to.
I think it will be a wonderful retreat for when he comes home.

Michele

Great looking stools! You did a good job on them. Are your cabinets hickory? They look like my hubby's favorite wood! xo Diana

Your stools turned out really good. I'm not too good at the distressing part...yours looks really natural. Good luck with the bedroom...I usually do all my projects by myself so I know it can be time-consuming. Hope you can round up some help!

Hi again, the stools came out great. Aren't you just loving the Annie Sloan paint. I seem to be painting everything lately. I'm in a Old White mood!

HI Michele! Your stools looks great! I love your kitchen. I may be the only one in Blogland who has not used the Annie Sloan paint! :)
Your cabinet in your entry is beautiful now and wait to see what you do with it. I'm coveting that Rooster lamp! ;)
Be a sweeite,

Michele, great job! Love the stools. I have a house that I will be renovating back in Louisiana, with a vintage style. You've given me inspiration!

The stools look great! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I've enjoyed visiting yours. I'm a TX native too! My heart goes out to you while your hubby is deployed. I thank him and you for the sacrifices made for our country. He's a hero but so are you for being brave and going it all alone. Hugs!

I think your stools turned out great. I've never used chalk paint before (even though my sister has) but I hope to try it one day. Can't wait to see how you redo that dresser. Thanks for stopping by my blog and saying hello!

What a great dresser, Michelle! I love it in the black but that seems like a piece that would do well painted any color you choose. Can't wait to see that! Your stools turned out great! The bedroom will be fun to do. You sound like me ~ I wait until the hubby is out of town before I tackle any job that might take a day or longer! : )
