J.R. Watkins Natural Products

I was at Target yesterday...(go figure) and wanted to take a look at some natural cleaning products.
I decided on J.R Watkins.
I like a fresh smelling home and love lemon scented everything...so I went with that.

As soon as I got home I was ready to try these babies out!

My review:
The handsoap smells really good.
Works up a pretty good lather although I found that the scent really doesn't "stay" on your hands compared to bath and body works lemon handsoaps. (which are my favorite)
~Overall~
I will definitely buy this again!

My review:
Again the dish soap smelled really good.
I don't think there were many suds compared to other dish soaps, but it cleaned really well.
Maybe I needed to add more soap? I'll try it again tomorrow.
~Overall~
I will buy again...but I think I may check out some of the other natural brand dish soaps (cause I like  LOTS of suds LOL)

My review:
Ok this cleanser is awesome...and I mean flippin awesome!
This was the first thing I tested.
It smells delicious, like fresh lemons.
The scent lingered for a bit and my kitchen smelled heavenly!
Obviously I will be buying this again!

There were other products in this brand but I wanted to test these 3 first.
At my Target these are on sale right now!!!

You can read all about them and many other products Here.

Have you used any of these?
Do you recommend any other brand?

I worked on my other bar stool lastnight. Stay tuned.....
Michele

Watkins has been around for a LONG time...they used to sell door-to-door and they make some wonderful products. My Mom used lots of them. I saw these in Target and it was like a trip down Memory Lane for me. Have your tried Mrs.Fields Lemon Verbana? You will think you have died and gone to Heaven. LOTS of suds for hands and dishes and great laundry cleaning. You use about 1/3 as much as you do of other stuff. xo Diana ps...they also make a wonderful Lavender scent.

Thanks for the hint, Michele! I hadn't seen these products but love the idea of the lemony smell.

I have not seen this at Target, but I LOVE lemon scented things too. So I'll have my eye out for them.

LOVE these products! I always have the hand soap in our bathrooms! Just a little note that most "natural" dish soaps are less sudsy than ones filled with chemicals. Just the territory I guess. I usually use Seventh generation or my personal favorite Planet, which is a little harder to find. My grocery store carries it. :)

Hi Michele!

I am so glad you reviewed this. I always buy my Mrs. Meyers products at Target but this brand is always right next to it and I have often wondered whether or not I should be grabbing it instead!?

I like a LOT of scent with cleaning products.... and Mrs. Meyers delivers in a big way. I am all about scents! My friend had used the lavender scent of Mrs. Meyers a few years ago and I stopped by and kept saying... what is THAT? Are you burning a candle? Is it your perfume? What is THAT?????
We finally realized she had sprayed down her counter tops earlier (with meyers soap)and from that day on.... I was sold.

Let me know how you would compare this to Mrs. Meyers Lemon.... if you have ever tried it!

Thanks so much!
Love the old fashioned packaging look of the brand you bought!

xx
