Strawberry Pickin

We had a great weekend.
We got a lot of stuff done and even had some fun family time.

Hubby was off basically all week, except he had to go in Friday to test for Staff Sgt.
(We should find out in a few months if he made it *cross fingers*)

We went to a could estate sales and I'll show off my finds in a couple days.

There is a little PYO strawberry farm not too far from here.
We try to go every year.
This was Reagan's first time...well first time since she was born.
She was in my belly one visit. :)

She loved it!

Nothing like tasting a warm strawberry right off the vine.
(after washing of course LOL)

Jonathan was having fun going over all the rows.

Yeah thats me....and my son.
He is 10.  jeez!
He is sooo very close to being taller than me.

FYI I'm 5'3.

I keep telling him to stop growing.

Kids....they just don't listen, do they?

Hubby didn't make it into any photos, he was the camera man.

He has a 4 day this weekend so we're hoping to get some jelly made.

A new rug for my entry

So I can't seem to leave well enough alone.
Yes...I've been messing with the entry again.
I didn't change it up too much but I really think it looks so much more awesome now.
When I start on something I have to work on it until its just "so" ya know?
Do you do that too?
Anywho heres my new rug.

I also moved my replaced my green Bordallo plate with this antique italian plate.

I added some moss and a starfish to my silver thing with the artichoke

I also added a ribbon to the sheet music wreath that I made so it would hang lower over my mirror.

Lastly I placed a vintage 7up crate (home to magazines) under my dresser.

I have LOTS of drink crates (DrP, Coke and some others) Soon to be listed in my shop. 

My too cute rain boots from Target!

I got a wild hair to move my red check curtains in here from the dining room just to see how they look.

I liked them but I've already put my green curtains back.

I promise I do have other rooms in my house LOL

They just aren't blog worthy yet :)

I'm working on pillows for my couch now, when I decide on fabric.

I'm thinking of these:

I received my MacKenzie Childs Courtly Check candles in the mail Friday.
They are friggin awesome.

Hubby even likes them.

I've been meaning to get bring down an extension cord so that the lamp cord is behind the couch.

For now its dressed up.

Half our family/kid DVD collection.

We have sooo many movies its ridiculous.

We are always buying movies, we love movie nights.

The lamp was $10 Ross find. I placed ontop of vintage books for height and added the leopard bow.

Pear was a yard sale find (its really heavy)

The transferware tureen was a $2 yard sale find. (missing top)

The plate/frame holder was from Tuesday Morning. $5

I placed my tiara from my wedding ontop of the books as well.

This vignette sits beside our couch.
